1. Clear Cache / Browsing Data

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (top right) → SettingsPrivacy, search, and services (or press Ctrl+Shift+Delete).
  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  4. Set Time range to All time.
  5. Check the boxes for:
    • Browsing history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  6. Click Clear now.
  7. Cache clear complete

Tip: For a quick cache-only clear (keeping history/cookies), uncheck Browsing history and Cookies and other site data, leaving only Cached images and files checked.

2. Reset Edge Browser Settings (full reset)

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Go to edge://settings/reset in the address bar (or Settings → Reset settings → Restore settings to their default values).
  3. Click Restore settings to their default values.
  4. Confirm by clicking Reset in the popup.
  5. This will:
    • Reset the homepage, new tab page, and search engine
    • Unpin all tabs
    • Disable all extensions
    • Clear cookies, cache, and site data
  6. Browser reset complete

Note: A full reset does not delete saved passwords, favorites, or browsing history — only settings, extensions, and site data (cache/cookies).
