1. Clear Cache / Browsing Data
- Open Edge.
- Click the three-dot menu (top right) → Settings → Privacy, search, and services (or press

- Set Time range to All time.
- Check the boxes for:
- Browsing history
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Click Clear now.
- ✅ Cache clear complete
Tip: For a quick cache-only clear (keeping history/cookies), uncheck Browsing history and Cookies and other site data, leaving only Cached images and files checked.
2. Reset Edge Browser Settings (full reset)
- Open Edge.
- Go to
edge://settings/reset in the address bar (or Settings → Reset settings → Restore settings to their default values). - Click Restore settings to their default values.
- Confirm by clicking Reset in the popup.
- This will:
- Reset the homepage, new tab page, and search engine
- Unpin all tabs
- Disable all extensions
- Clear cookies, cache, and site data
- ✅ Browser reset complete
Note: A full reset does not delete saved passwords, favorites, or browsing history — only settings, extensions, and site data (cache/cookies).
